Our Story

Founder Shannon Spadaro never expected to fall in love with line dancing. Growing up in New Jersey, country music and cowboy boots weren't part of everyday life. It wasn't until a friend convinced her to step onto the dance floor that she discovered something unexpected: a community.

What started as a night out quickly became a passion; about building confidence, making friends, and creating memories with people from every background. But for Clemson students, the nearest line-dancing venues were over 40 minutes away.

So instead of waiting for someone else to create that space, Shannon decided to build it herself. As an entrepreneurship student at Clemson, she turned an idea into a business through Two Step Tavern pop-up events.

To create an inclusive, welcoming, and active social space where people of all experience levels can connect through music, dancing, and community.
